🩺 Vet-informed safety note
Use tuna packed in water, never oil or brine, and serve only occasionally — fish like tuna can contain trace mercury, so it is best as an occasional treat rather than a daily one. Always avoid these in any dog treat: xylitol (a sweetener often in peanut butter), chocolate, grapes, raisins, onions, garlic, and excess salt or sugar. Treats should make up no more than about 10% of your dog’s daily calories. If your dog has allergies, a sensitive stomach, or a health condition, check with your veterinarian first.
Storage
Store cooled biscuits in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months. Always let treats cool fully before serving.
