Apple & Carrot Dog Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 apple, cored and grated (no seeds)
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups oat flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grate the apple and carrot; mix with the egg.
  3. Add flour and combine into a dough.
  4. Roll, cut, and arrange on a lined tray.
  5. Bake 20–25 minutes; cool completely.

Always remove apple seeds and the core — apple seeds contain trace cyanide and can be a choking hazard. The flesh is perfectly safe and a great low-calorie crunch. Always avoid these in any dog treat: xylitol (a sweetener often in peanut butter), chocolate, grapes, raisins, onions, garlic, and excess salt or sugar. Treats should make up no more than about 10% of your dog’s daily calories. If your dog has allergies, a sensitive stomach, or a health condition, check with your veterinarian first.

Storage

Store cooled biscuits in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months. Always let treats cool fully before serving.
