Frozen watermelon dog popsicle treats recipe

Banana & Blueberry Dog Biscuits

Banana and blueberry team up for a naturally sweet, antioxidant-rich treat. Soft, fruity, and easy to make, these biscuits are a fruity favorite in any dog bowl.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups oat flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash banana; mix with lightly mashed blueberries and egg.
  3. Add flour to form a dough.
  4. Roll, cut, and place on a lined tray.
  5. Bake 20–22 minutes; cool completely.

🩺 Vet-informed safety note

Banana and blueberries are both dog-safe and nutritious. Because banana is high in natural sugar, serve these in moderation, especially for less active dogs. Always avoid these in any dog treat: xylitol (a sweetener often in peanut butter), chocolate, grapes, raisins, onions, garlic, and excess salt or sugar. Treats should make up no more than about 10% of your dog’s daily calories. If your dog has allergies, a sensitive stomach, or a health condition, check with your veterinarian first.

Storage

Store cooled biscuits in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months. Always let treats cool fully before serving.
