Every good dog deserves a birthday cake. This one is naturally sweet from carrot and apple, bound with egg and a spoon of peanut butter, and “frosted” with plain yogurt — no sugar, no nonsense.

Carrot-Apple Pup Birthday Cake
A moist, one-layer birthday cake of carrot, apple and peanut butter — frosted with plain yogurt for a celebration your pup will never forget.
Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C); grease a small round pan.
- Mix oat flour, carrot, apple, peanut butter and eggs into a batter.
- Pour into the pan and bake 35 minutes until a pick comes out clean.
- Cool completely, then spread with plain yogurt.
- Slice and serve a small portion as an occasional treat.
Notes
Make-ahead: bake the cake a day before and frost just before serving.
🐾 Vet-informed safety note. Carrot and apple (no seeds or core) are dog-safe and naturally sweet — no added sugar needed. Use xylitol-free peanut butter and plain, unsweetened yogurt. Serve a small slice; cake is a once-in-a-while treat.
Storage & make-ahead
Refrigerate up to 4 days, or freeze unfrosted slices up to 2 months.
