Recipes & safety
Every recipe is reviewed against trusted veterinary sources and carries a safety note with cited guidance. We flag any “sometimes” ingredient and never include anything known to harm dogs. Always confirm with your vet about your dog’s individual needs.
Our recipes are vet-informed: each ingredient is checked against reputable veterinary and pet-nutrition sources, and safety notes cite organizations like the ASPCA and AKC. They’re not a substitute for personalized advice from your own veterinarian.
Often, yes. Many recipes suggest swaps (for example oat flour for wheat, or skipping cheese for dairy-sensitive dogs). Introduce any new ingredient gradually and check with your vet if your dog has known allergies.
A good rule: treats should be no more than 10% of your dog’s daily calories. Our Feeding & Safety Guide includes a portion chart by dog size.

Storing & serving
Each recipe includes storage tips. Most baked treats keep about a week in an airtight container, or freeze up to three months. Frozen treats keep a couple of months in the freezer.
Many can be adapted, and we have dedicated grain-free recipes (like our Sweet-Potato & Coconut Bites) that skip grains entirely.
Most are, in appropriate portions. Our soft training treats are especially good for puppies and seniors with sensitive teeth. As always, check with your vet for very young, very old, or unwell dogs.
