Apple-Carrot Pup Birthday Cake
A wholesome apple-carrot “barkday” cake with a plain yogurt frosting — the centerpiece of any pup party.
Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C); grease a small 6-inch round pan.
- Mix the apple, carrot, applesauce, eggs and peanut butter.
- Stir in the oat flour and baking soda until combined.
- Pour into the pan and bake 30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely, then frost with plain yogurt and top with a few dog-safe berries.
Notes
Use a small pan for a tall cake. Serve a small slice — it is a treat, not a meal. Xylitol-free peanut butter only.
