Liver is the gold standard of high-value treats. Baked low and slow, it becomes a firm, training-friendly chew.

Beef Liver Jerky
Intensely meaty, high-value liver jerky — dogs go wild for it and a little goes a long way.
Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 200°F (95°C); line a sheet.
- Rinse and slice liver into ¼-inch strips.
- Arrange in a single layer.
- Bake 2.5–3 hours until dry and firm.
- Cool, then cut into small pieces.
Notes
Liver is rich — serve sparingly.
🐾 Vet-informed safety note. Liver is high in vitamin A, so feed in moderation (a few small pieces) — too much over time can be harmful. Plain only, no seasoning.
