Soft, lightly sweet oat chews with a touch of honey — gentle, wholesome, and easy to chew.

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups oat flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tbsp honey

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C); line a baking sheet.
  2. Whisk the egg, applesauce and honey together.
  3. Stir in the rolled oats and oat flour to a soft dough.
  4. Scoop spoonfuls onto the sheet and flatten gently.
  5. Bake 18 minutes until just set but still soft; cool.

Notes

Keep the honey to a small amount, and only for healthy adult dogs.
